HUB aor switch maay Farq pocha ap naay ....

Hub aor switch maay bohut hee wazaay farq hai ....

HUB

1) hub aik Repeator key terhaa hai ju kay apni receiving port pay data receive karti hai aor woo data apni tumam output ports paay send karti hai ..
isse liay isse Multiport repeater b kahaa jata hai ....

2) ager app ku Broad cast aor Collision domain k motaliq ilm hai tu yeh jana b ap kay liay zaroori hai k hub collision domain ku break nahee karti , isse liay hub paay communication humaisha half-duplex huti hai ... jiss say bandwidth ka ziyya huta hai .....

3) Hub OSI Modle key firsl layer jissay PHYSICAL LAYER kehtay hain paay kam karti hai ...

4) switch k muqablay maay kafi kum qeemat hai ....

5) amooman networks maay hub ku avoid kiya jata hai ......

SWITCH



SWITCH :

switch , hub k berkhilaf receive kiya janay wala data sirf ossi port paay forward karta hai ... jis k liay data send kiya gaya hai ... for example
switch key 10 ports hain aor port 1 pay computer A , port2 pay computer B , Port3 pay computer C , Port4 pay computer D attched hain .... ab switch receiving port pay data receive karta hai ju k computer C k liay send kiya gaya hai tu switch woo data sirf port3 paay forward karay ga ..... lakin issy case maay hub computer c ka data apni tumam ports paay send karay ge aor sub computers ju hub k sth attach hain onnay data receive karna paray ga...

ab gairzaroori data send karnay say Bandwidth use hu gee aor nuqsan hu ga jab k switch maay sirf osse computer ku data milay ga jiss k liay send kiya gaya hai ... so switch bandwidth ku waste nahee karta ...

2) switch networks maay collision domain ku break karta hai .. isse liay switch pay communication fulduplix huti hai .... switch key her port aik seprate collision domain huti hai ..... ager ap k link key bandwidth 2 MB hai tu switch key her port 2 MB bandwidth use karti hai .... jab isse case may ager hub use key jaay tu 2 MB hub key tumam ports maay divided huti hai .. isse liay hub slow huti hai ....

3) SWitch OSI key 2nd layer jissay DATA LINK Layer kehtay hain paay kam karta hai ....

4) Hub ka muqabalay maay mehnga huta hai

5) network maay hub k muqablay maay switch ku terjeeh de jati hai ...

Router is a Intelligent Device while a Switch is not,,

Router is just like a mini Computer , while a Switch is a Multiport Repeater,,,

A Router can be used to join two networks , while a Switch is used whith in a Single nework.

Hub is Multiport Repeator ......


Router and switch are both intelligent devices ..... coz Router creats Routing Table to rout packets and Switch creats CAM
(content addressable memory) to forward frames .... so both are intelligent devices ... Hub is not intelligent device ...

Router joins two WANs while Swithc join two LANs ....... hope you understand the difference .....

Salam frnds, kya koi meri problem solve kr sakta hai? mein usb k through net chala raha hon jab mein is sy networking ki koshish krta hon to switch ya router on krty he mera net disconnect ho jata hai
