Net experts pls help me ....

Dear freinds, I have dsl line and i am using my laptop via LAN ! I've got another laptop which is HP compaq nx5000. but connecting it same line, The ineternet is not working. all options are same in both laptop regarding Internet protocol & LAN settings. network connection shows internet connected but its not receiving or sending bytes... anybody pls help me ! jazakumullah.....

brother send & receive doonon bytes nahin aa rahay tu cable check ker lain. secondly ip same na rakhiay ga yeh must unique ho

Actually brother wohi cable dusre laptop me lagate he to wo barabar kam kar raha he ! aur cable lagne wali port me dono lights bhi jal rahi he.. aur internet connected bhi bata raha he ! lekin practically internet nahi chal rahi he ! it shows " page can not be displayed ". seding receiving bytes shows zero. second mene sare setting automatically detect rakhe he. koi ip add. nahi rakha he.. shukriya for the reply.

dosto, actually settings to sare sahi he magar abhi problem mil gaya he, system properties k device manager se pata chala k kuchh drivers available nahi he , jese k ethernet controller wageyrah. pls zara attach ki huyi image dekhe. aur yeh driver konse aur kaha se milenge ye bataye. mera laptop HP - compaq nx5000 he. aap logo ka bada shukriya ...
