    salam::

    Excel m merge karne k leye koi built in short cut nahee ha. Aap ko ye khod banan ho ga.
    waise excel k standard tool bar m bhee merge cel aur across ka short cut hota ha.
    agar macro darkar ha tu i can help you.But my advice avoid merge cell as possible kiyon k ye mushkilat paida karte hain.

    aap macro record karain. Jo k built in toor par macro1 ka nam de ga isi ko rehne dain.
    Short cut m q assign karain, aur macro ko stop kar dain.
    Stop karne k baad macro k edit optionm jain aur ye code paste kardain.

    Sub Macro1()
    '

    Code:
    With Selection
            .HorizontalAlignment = xlCenter
            .MergeCells = True
        End With
    ab ap jab bhe apni range select karian ge aur sirf ctrl+q press karain ge tu aap ke cell/range merge ho gain ge.

    regards

    aap excel ka konsa version istimal karte hain.

    Agar 2003 tu tool ya data k tab m macro k option hota ha. wahan par record par click karain.

    m xl2007 istimal kar raha hon is leye mujhe confirm nahee k kis kis menu k under ha.

    Waise tu macro k zarye bohat se tareeqe hain leekan start from base k agar koi new user bhe is ko read karain tu un ko bhee asane ho. Follow These Steps

    1. Kisi bhe toolbar say standard tool bar par apna mouse le jain aur right click karain.

    2. Jab tool bar list appear ho tu is m se visual basic ko select karain.

    3. Visual basic k tool bar appear ho jae ga is ko kisi bhe jagha par adjust kar lain.

    4. Is k button bhe VCR ki tarah hote hain.

    5. Click circle on the tool bar jo k "record" button hota ha.

    6. Record macro k dialogue box appear ho ga tu Macro name m apne marze ka name lekh dain.

    7. Shortcut key m as mention above "q" assign karain ya apne marze ka leekan khayal karain k excel k builtin shortcut na ho.

    8. baqi filed ko chor dain aur OK click karain.ye recording start kar dega leekan aap ne kuch record nahee karna.

    9. visual basic k tool bar par "stop" k button ko press karain aap ki macro record ho gai ge.

    10. Ab aap ya tu tool bar m view code select karain ya tu data--->macro--->edit k option m apni macro select karain. tu aap ko kuch is tarah k code nazar aaey ga.

    Code:
    Sub Macro1()
    '
    ' Macro1 Macro
    '
    ' Keyboard Shortcut: Ctrl+q
    '
    End Sub
    aap sirf itna karna k post#3 m jo code me ne aap ko deya ha us ko keyboard shortcut k bad paste kar dain. tu phir ye poora code is tarah ho gae ga.

    Code:
    Sub Macro1()
    '
    ' Macro1 Macro
    '
    ' Keyboard Shortcut: Ctrl+q
        With Selection
            .HorizontalAlignment = xlCenter
            .MergeCells = True
        End With
    End Sub
    vb editor k window ko close kar dain. Ab aap ki marze ha k tool bar par play k button se macro run karte hain ya runki command se ya apni range select karne k baad shortcut jo assign keya tha "ctrl+q" se is ko run karte hain.

    main explain karne m kuch zayada acha nahee hon agar phir bhe koi masla ho ya samajh na aaye tu is course m aik lesson "Zara" ne macro par deya ha aap us kok read karain phir try karain. Inshaallah aap ka masla hal ho gae ga.

    regards
