If you are not sure of the keyboard layout for a language, you may want to display the Microsoft Visual Keyboard:

Click on Start | Programs | Office Applications | Microsoft Office Tools | Microsoft Visual Keyboard.

Click on the Visual Keyboard and change the Language Setting to reflect the language you want to input. You can either click the keys on the Visual Keyboard or you can click in the document and then use the normal keyboard. You also have to change the language in the Office application to match.
