Grand Theft Auto V Release Date Announced
The one of the most anticipated video game of the year ‘Grand Theft Auto V’ or simply GTA 5, a new installment of the most popular violent video game series ever, will be finally released worldwide on September 17th. The release date of Grand Theft Auto V is announced by Take-Two Interactive Software and will be released under the label of Rockstar Games.
But there is a little disappointment for PC users as GTA 5 will be initially released for play on Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3 consoles.
Grand Theft Auto V is set on a location called ‘Los Santos’ that is somehow similar to the city of Los Angeles. This fictional city highlights all the good and bad aspects of a metropolitan. According to the Rockstar, the world in GTA V is much bigger than the GTA IV and San Andreas combined. This game will be the largest open world game that Rockstar has ever created.
Unlike the previous installments of Grand Theft Auto series, this part will include three characters and all of them will be playable. The three characters include a street gangster, a scam artist and a maniac who loves violence. Each character will have unique and particular set of skills and abilities. Each character will have missions of their own and there will be also some missions which requires the collaboration and team work from the characters. Players will be able to switch between the three characters during the game play if they are not on a mission.
It will be good if you are reminded that the Grand Theft IV broke all the video game records when it was released in 2008 by making $500 million in its first week of release. If we talk about the whole series, then more than 125 million copies of all the games combined have been sold. The first game of the franchise was exposed in 1997.
