Please help me rgarding RAM.........

i was copying the data from my pc to external hard disk . in between i got error DISK READ ERROR. AND MY pc shuts down and dont restart. now i UNPLUG the hard disk wire and remove the RAM and PUT it again in the Same slot .
Now my PC is very slow Even it cant handle multitasking if i am copying and do another work simultaneously it is immpossible to do .
please help me to regain the speed of my pc..
my pc have dual core processor
AND
1GB RAM.

please give me solution

Check the settings of the jumpers of ur hard disk, set them according to the settings given on ur hard disk...
may be it works?

jahan tak mujhey laga hai key ap hard disk pe attach howa hai virus ka....
ap nod32 eset sey apney pc ko full scan karey then phir apni hdd connect kar key data copy karey...
