SVCHOST.exe taking too much memory

ASSALAM-0-ALAIKUM friends..
maine pehle bhi itdunya pe kaafi questions post kiyay hain jin k answers mujhe sahi nahi milay is dafa main again is hope se question kar raha hun k shayad sahi answer mill jaye..
question yeh hai k mera system bohot slow chal raha hai and us ki waja yeh hai k svchost.exe file taqreeban 150,000 k memory use karahi hai ab yeh batain is ka solution kya hai
main windows xp sp2 use kar raha hun and antivirus bit defender total security hai jo update bhi rahta hai..
kindly mujhe koi yeh answer na day k windows reinstall kar lain yeh koi sahi solution nahi hoga...
KINDLY RESOLVE PROBLEM ASAP...
