the way of marriage on one side looks very easy but on the other way it is very hard. As i am in Libya they have the same culture but for them it is very hard especially for the boys. because to get married must they have there separate house, own car and he has to pay for all the things for the bride even for all her wedding cloths. To complete all these things he need enough money and to get money is not very easy these days. Most the guys they get married after the age 35 years. this the thing which is making the marriage ratio down. when the marriage ratio is less all of us know it that what could happen.
we have to look at both sides of the picture.
Islam ask us to make the marriages easy. if we look at the marriage of our Prophet's (s.w) daughter Hazrat FATIMA (R) also our prophet (s.w) give her some thing in jahaiz.
i accept that yes in Pakistan the people make it difficult. but also the Arab's marriages are more difficult if they follow their culture.
