how to check that "Hard Disk" is working properly

I have recently purchased a 160 GB Hard disk(internal).
how i can check that Hard Disk is working good and properly or there is/are some faults.
Please if there is any software to check this?

with the help of "Active Hard Disk Monitor Corporate v1.3.95" the status of my hdd is given in the followin image please tell me is my hdd is working good or not, is there some faults or not.

Aap kia kehtay hain kia mujhay HDD (Hard Disk) replace krwani chahye.
Dukandar ko ja kr bus yehi keh dun k aik tou yeh noise krti hai aur dusra is ki health b sirf 58% hai.?????

yaaar ap ke is software se mein bhi scan karwata hun..and apni HDD ki pic lagata hun.
meri hDD 3 saal se use ho rahi almost.
phir ap ko decision lene mei asani hogi.

Waise ap ne HDD Tune use kiya?woh bad sectors bhi batata hai.

and ap pro version download karlain isi software ka..us mein saray options enable hongay.that would give u a better idea\result...

Bhai mein ne check ki apni HDDs ap ke bataye hue software se.
mein ne pro verison download kiya.
meri ek ke 80% and doosre ki 87% health dikha raha hai.(mashaAllah)

So u seriously need to check the HDD.
Ap ek kaam karain.isi software mein uper VIEW ->Scan Disk Page pe click karain
and apni HDD ko scan karain
Bad sector remove karain.
phir dekhain.
InshaAllah health 75% tak ajani chahiye.
