This could be due to many problems:
a.Corrupt files due to virus, you can remove and reinstall browser to fix this.

b. Bad sectors etc, May be.

Why do you use Chrome while you have firefox on your system? Update firefox to latest version and I believe its the best browser in the market.

yes afcorse delete the explorer nad reisntall and also scan your system

Reinstall google chrome and scan ur PC.

aap ne antivirus se scan kia hoga jis k natejy main google chrome ki files del hogaen hain

ager aap k antivirus main recovery ka option hai ya phir deleted files show karta hai to us main ja kar aap chrome ki files ko restore karden
