Learn how to read urdu ? help me out guyz

Assalamu alaikum everybody out there, well guys i need to learn how to read urdu ? this is a voice of a guys who brought up in a country India who didn't have enough knowledge about how to learn to read urdu ? Alhumdulilah! i'm fluency in read Arabic (Quran) but totally weak in urdu language.......My dad knows how to read plus write the language urdu but sadly he's don't leave with me, actullay i want to know about islam so when i begin to start my interest i found that most of the islamic books are of urdu language, it's totally horrible............Hope you can understand my problem and glad to hear reply from side......and i'm new to this forum.....Jazakhallah kahir,

well brother i am so glad that you take a keen interest in urdu language. as far as consult to learn every language you have to do lots of practices....
like if some would like to learn french or German language he or she have to know the alphabet. and you knows the alphabets of Arabic language so if quit simple to learn the alphabets of urdu language these are quit similar... i read you comment above that you can read roman urdu so its simple first you have to see this link for alphabets or urdu and try to learn it by heart like your own language you knows by heart. then try to write it down several times so that you starts to know the alphabets then try to join the words like Hindi language.
make words by your self and check them in online Google translator...

NOTE: words pronunciation must be correct.

then slowly slowly you starts to knows the words of urdu language... i know it difficult and hard but if you try brother nothing will be hard...
