A short shunt compound generator supplies a load at 100 V. through a pair of feeders of total resistance 0.05 ohms the load consists of four motors each taking 40 amp. and a lighting load of 200, 60 W. lamps. armature resistance 0.02 ohm series field resistance 0.05 ohms shunt field resistance 50 ohms.
Find:
a) Load current.
b) Terminal voltage.
c) E.m.f. generated.
