Koi faida nai hai bhai agr 500 gb sata hai to win 98 to bhool he jao or DM b q k sata mai dm nai lgta or 500 gb ko formate kerte kerte ap ko bht waqt lag jai ga q k win 98 quick format nai kerti 500 250 gb ki hard drive ko chahe wo sata mai hon ya IDE mai wo bht slow format kere gi or sata mai to dm na mumkin hai Hard drive agr ap ki IDE ho or CD rom Sata tb b DM nai lage ga mai ne ye sb kch check ker liya hai mere sath b yehe msla paish aya hua hai.

Khair koi gl nai yara glti to sb se he hoti hai. khari to ap ek kaam kerain ap ko sb pata chal jai ga k ap ki hard disk mai kya problem hai ap win98 install ker lain jb ap us ka setup chalain ge or setup scan kerte waqt koi error deta hai to smjh ap ki hard drive gai kaam se or phr agar scandisk shuru ker de to smjh jain ap ki har drive mai bad sectors hain... to phr ap ka kaam ho gaya janab.....

because jo kam XP nahi ker saki woh ap os sy win98 ky DOS sy kerwa rahy ho or woh bhi esa keh jo shayad ap khod bhi na ker sako

Disk Manager is the only solution. Boot From windows 98 then replace CD with Disk Manager software (e.g Drive Name)
Apply Command
DM/X
go to NO 4 option create partition
Do your partition as desired
wait for the process
then restart.

Or

Apply Zero Fill Command

or

Install window through Ghost it will bypass your badsector. but all these are temparary solutions.
U need to change your harddrive immediately

or agr woh process terminate ker dy to phir iska koi ilaj nahi siway new hard leny ky or agr laga rahy laga rahy to phir jab complete ker ly to ap window xp ker lena magr window kerty hoy format na kerna just leave he ker dena jab woh formating ky liy options dy

Bhai ap ko easy solution btata hn mai ap tension na lain lekin apko thora 30 rupe ka kharcha kerna ho ga..
