unable to open word document

teen char din say maire word ky file nahi open rahin jab kholta hoon to ye message ata hay screen shot attach kar raha hoon. message jo ata hay wo ye hay plse select endoding that can make ur document readable.

kia window main kisi masle ki waja say aisa nahi ho sakta ?

jee, aap ki drive/partition jis main yeh documents hain, us kay file system main problem hosakti hai. ScanDisk chala lain, theek ho jaye gi. Sirf aur sirf word docs ko karta hay ya baqi files bhi corrupt ho gai hain ?

app ki file corrupt ho gayi hai office remove kar k again install kar k dekh lain,....

bhai i can not say any thing what happened to them but all my documents file having same problem except those now i m savings. actualy i don't know what i did to customize my window. i m now havign doubt about window coz office i already reinstalled. but yesterday i suceeded to open file on experiment basis. i will like to share that.i tried different options. then i open the office help and i read open document from file menue. daillogue that opened after pressing file +open have drop down and their is option recover text from any file. i did that once and it was opened and i hope today i will perform more test . insha Allah it will be ok thanks for the help .

Warraich Sb, the problem is due to virus attack i guess, as i experienced the virus "WINFILE" cause this problem, check your HD with virus scan and use a software "Word Repair" that has the options to correct corrupted .doc files.
