I think it is effective for window XP only and office 1998-2003
not for office 7

And what makes you think like that?
It is simply a macro? Does Office 7 not support macros?
and what it has to do with the version of Windows? Macros does not interact with the underlying operating system. Marcos may be application dependent but not the operating system dependent.
