laptop 12-cell battery charging time ??

I have purchased a new 12-cell battery for my HP G-62 laptop. ( Its Original was 6 cell)

But it is taking to much time to recharge. approximately 6:30 -7 hours.

Is this suitable time for a 12-cell battery to recharge.


and it gives me only 3:45 hours backup.(Without multimedia)
