How to disable laptop's LCD and use external monitor as only output

You can switch off the LCD via Control Center:

Open System Settings

Go to Displays

connect to a projector

now your LCD of lab top will off and attached LCD will remain on

but when light will go off your extra LCD will be off lab top remain on

that’s all
