Jab man win xp ki cd ko boot krta ho to setup kuch files load krta hai aur phr likha ata hai k setup cannot load keyboard layout file shutdown your computer.

When starting a computer by using a Microsoft Windows XP CD, the following error message appears:

Setup cannot load the keyboard layout file Kbdus.dll.
Setup cannot continue. Shut down or restart your computer.
This problem occurs if no drive letters are available to assign to the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive. This problem may occur if the computer has more than 24 partitions.

The Mount Manager component in the Windows Setup program assigns drive letters to all available hard disk drive partitions before a drive letter is assigned to the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive. If all available drive letters are assigned to the hard disk drive partitions that exist, no drive letter is available for the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive.

If no drive letter is available for the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive, the Setup program cannot access the CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive. Therefore, the Setup operation cannot continue.

Note:
This problem may also occur if the partition table on the hard disk drive has become damaged.
Solution

Power off one or more of your physical hard disks-preferably, hard disks that do not contain software fault-tolerant sets (mirrors, volume sets, or stripe sets) before you start from the Windows CD-ROM. This enables the CD-ROM drive to be assigned a drive letter so it can be used during Setup.

Disconnect Drives that Are Not Required and Restart XP Setup
Perform the following workaround:

If more than one DVD-ROM, CD-ROM, or hard disk drive is installed in the computer, disconnect one of the drives.
Do not disconnect a hard disk drive that is part of a fault-tolerant set or a stripe set. This includes a hard disk drive that is part of one of the following types of configurations:
A hard disk drive that is part of a Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks (RAID) 1 array. This is also known as a mirror set.
A hard disk drive that is part of a RAID 5 array. This is also known as a stripe set with parity.
A hard disk drive that is part of a stripe set that is not fault-tolerant
Restart the Windows XP Setup program.

bhai ap pehly sirf 20 gb wali hard drive lagyen us me windows 7 install karen. us k ba'ad 80 gb wali b lga len.. ab app ka system 20gd wali me jo window 7 he us sy chaly ga.. jb system on ho jaye to computer per right click kr ky mange per click keren, us k ba'ad disk management per click kren. yahan per app ko apni dono hard drives k partitions nazer ayen ge. ab app 80 gb wali hard k sary partitions 1, 1 kar ke delete keren or phir total 2 ya 3 partitions bna len.. jb ye ho jye to phir app apni 80 gb wali hard drive main window install ker sako gye.. lazmi try krna bohat easy he.. or batana k kam howa ya nahi.. agr samjh nahi ayi to batana main screen shot se samjhany ki koshish karon ga..

Main b yahe koshish kr rha ho k hard 2no chalen aur window 20gb ki chalay aur man 80gb ki partitions delete kr do but jb main 2no hard 1sath chalata ho to 80gb run hoti hai aur es main window install nahe hai.
