How to give a presentation effectively in English?
Assalamoalykum guys, I hope everyone is doing good. Today, I'm gonna share with you some tips to give a presentation in your school/college or even in university effectively.
There are 6 points, you've to keep them in your mind while giving your presentation.
1st: Selection of topic.
Your topic should be knowledgeable.
Must be creative and unique.
2nd: Start:
A good start is very important for a presentation, you get only 15 secs to get the attention of your audience. So make sure you to give a good intro of yourself and intro of your topic as well.
3rd: Body Language:
Body language is what connects you with the words and sentences which you say after the audience. You can take steps while presenting a topic, movement of your hands helps other to understand it better.
4th: Dressing:
Dressed up nicely is the key to be more confident during the presentation. You should look different than others, so it is good to dressed up well because it's also give you a good feeling.
5th: Avoid Unnecessary Pause:
Don't ever give unnecessary pauses during the speech or presentation. Normal pauses are allowed where it's required but be careful about unnecessary pauses. Like, Umm.. Aaa.. Hmm.. your audience could feel that you're not prepared to give presentation and that will give a bad impact on you.
6th: End:
Every speech or presentation should be ended well, you can just say "I'm done" or "that's it" it will sound odd. For effective presentation you've to end it in a good way. You can include some quotations which is related to your topic or any motivational quote to end your speech/presentation.
