Thread: How To View Saved Wifi Password?

    Default How To View Saved Wifi Password?

    1) Move up a folder (to the root folder) in ES File Explorer and you will see a directory called data.
    2) Goto data > misc > wifi folder and you will find a file named wpa_supplicant.conf.
    3) Open the file and make sure you use ES File Explorer ‘s built-intext/HTML viewer for the task.
    4) Now in this file you will be able to see the network SSID and their passwords.
    5) Now note down the network name andits password.
    6) In this way you will be able to view all saved wifi password in android device.
    7) Please do not edit anything in wpa_supplicant.conf as it can alter your device working or it will have affect on your wifi connectivity.

    click on the connected wifi connection -> now click on Properties
    -> a popup window will appear -> now "check" show characters. your saved pass will appear now

    This is for only rooted phones, and you can download many applications from playstore that can help you view the pasword.

    Please note that if you have a zong device, first of all, go to your main IP and then enter your admin username and admin password. By default, the username and pass are "Admin".     That's Right Actually, you cannot access on the root folder if the device is not rooted
