A smaller version of the classic Mario Brothers game that contains only six levels. It's a fairly good remake, but I would rather play the game if it had all the levels. If you don't know what Mario is, it's a game where you are Mario and you travel to different worlds and levels to collect coins and avoid enemies. Being a plumber, you can travel through pipes to get to hidden areas or skip ahead to certain sections.

GTA is one of my favorite games because there are no limitations. Do missions in any order, drive wherever you want, do whatever you want. With hundreds of secrets, this game will keep you entertained for months. This isn't one of those games you can beat in a couple days; something new is never far away. The part that surprised me most was that Rockstar released this game for free, and then updated the engine so that it runs better on new computers! Here are a few things this game has to offer: over 6,000 km of freeways, back ends, roads, alleyways, and dead ends, no limitations, up to four player network games, and great graphics and sound

Abuse

In Abuse, you have to kill mutants who are infected from the virus, and collect health, ammo, and power-ups. This is a platform game, where you control the movement of your player with the keyboard and you aim your weapon using your mouse. It also includes a level editor, if you want to create your own. Decent graphics, and nice sound.

Blade(*****)

Blade is a well-made 3D slash-em-up game similar to Mortal Combat. It has nice 3D graphics and realistic sound effects, and still plays well on a 4-year old computer.

You can play against a human player or the computer. The controls are kind of awkward--you must use the keys on the number pad to control your character. 1 and 4 block, while 5 and 2 attack. (Don't forget to turn 'Num Lock' on!) But apparently a joystick works as well.

The bottom line: good graphics and gameplay, weird controls, but overall worth the download.

Final Soccer Challenge (****)

Final Soccer Challenge is probably the closest you can get to FIFA without spending any money. The graphics and controls are very basic, but the game is fun for a while. Play with one or two players, and the rest are computer players.

Truck Dismount (****)

In this great game you control a truck as it speeds toward a huge wall, with a person sitting either inside or on top of the truck. You can add up to 2 ramps so that the truck spins more, injuring the person as he bounces around. The more you injure the person, the more points you get. High scores from around the world can be downloaded, and you can compare your score to see how well you do against other people. This is a great stress-reliever game and it's very addictive. The outcome is never the same, and you will spend a lot of time trying to get higher scores. This game is a great stress-reliever.
