1. Double Click on "My Computer" Icon on your desktop.
2. Double Click on the "Dial-Up Networking" folder.
3. Double click on "Make New Connection" icon.
4. For Connection Name type in "PTCL" and click next..
5. Type your city code in "Area Code". Under telephone no. type 13177777. Click next.
6. Now click "Finish" to save your configuration.
7. You will see a PTCL icon in your Dial-up Networking folder. Click on the PTCL icon with your right mouse button and select Properties.
8. Deselect the Country Code and Area Code option.
9. Click on Server Types tab. Deselect all options except TCP/IP. Then click TCP/IP Settings.
10. The following options should be selected in this window. Then Click OK.
11. Right Click again on PTCL Icon and select "Create Shortcut".
12. The following message will appear. Click OK so that your PTCL Shortcut will be placed on your Desktop.

7. Click on the "Networking" tab. Uncheck all boxes except TCP/IP. Then click the "TCP/IP Settings" Button.
8. The following options should be selected in this window.
9. Right Click again on PTCL Icon and select "Create Shortcut".
10. The following message will appear. Click OK so that your PTCL Shortcut will be placed on you Desktop.

9. Type in PTCL username and password (ptcl/ptcl) and click Next.
10. Type PTCL in connection name field.
11. Click No if you do not want to configure your mail account.
12. Click on Finish to configure your PTCL connection

3. Type PTCL in the phone book entry. Click Next
4. Click option "I am calling the Internet". Click Next.
5. In phone Number, type 13177777. Click next and then click finish.
7. A window will appear. Click on "More" Button and the click "Edit entry and modem properties".
8. Deselect the Country Code and Area Code option.
9. Click on "Server" tab. Deselect all options except TCP/IP. Then click "TCP/IP Settings".
10. Select ‘Server Assigned IP Address’, ‘Server Assigned Name Server Addresses, ‘Use IP header compression, ‘Use default gateway on remote Network’. Click OK. Your dialup settings are now complete.

10. In the "Internet Account Information" window, type in your PTCL username and password and click Next.
11. After finishing the "New Connection Wizard", check the Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop checkbox for easy access to the PTCL connection icon.
