As per your enquiry, you can have your WIFI device secured yourself.



to secure your Wi-Fi device please follow the below mentioned steps.



Connect the device with PC/ Laptop through Ethernet cable (recommended).
Click on the link http://192.168.15.1 .
Password of Wi-tribe page is “witribe”.
Click “Internet” option on left side of console.
Click on “Wireless” option on right top corner of Console.
Select the Radio Channel option as auto.
Select “Open System” option in front of Authentication Option.
Select WEP as the Encryption Type.
Select 1 in front of the “Default Key” option.
Enter a 10 digits numeric security key in front of “Key”
No other settings are required to be changed.
Click on “Apply” and wait for 30 Seconds before removing cable.



When device is secured, remove the cable and connect with Wi-Fi. Initially it will ask Wi-Fi security key which is saved after first entry. Please feel free to contact us if you found any issue in performing the above steps. The below mentioned screen shot should also prove to be helpful.
