Internet is not working ! (HP Compaq - nx5000)

dear freinds, I have dsl line ! already i am using my laptop via LAN ! I've got another one which is HP compaq nx5000. but connecting it same line, The ineternet is not working. all options are same in both laptop regarding Internet protocol & LAN settings. network connection shows internet connected but its not receiving or sending bytes... anybody pls help me ! jazakallah.....

open network connection, right click on network icon and go to properties now you have to check tcp/ip of the network
I will suggest to choose obtain ip address automatically
similarly in gateway as well

one more thing to check
Internet explorer>tool>option>connection>lan setting and select automatically obtain ip address

username : Admin
pass : admin

check out DHCP is working properly if YES then check the IP range of ur DHCP .If the probelm again continue then give ur laptop manual IP and default gateway and also DNS primry and secondry..

actually I found that following drivers are missing in tht laptop, by checking device manager,

Ethernet controller,
Mass Storage controller,
Multimedia Audio Controller,
Network Controller,
PCI Modem,
Video Controller,
Vidoe Controller (VGA Compitible).

Can you all please help me to forward the above driver for HP Compaq nx5000 model laptop.
