1st of all Asalam o Alikum...!

It is quite simple to differentiate B/w Hibernate and Standby.

Hibernate me PC me jo Application open hoti hain eg. Yahoo, MS word etc sab ki sab wese he rehti hain....or Hibernate me shutdown PC bhi ho jata hai...

Stnadby me Monitor or CPU Off ho jate hain....per shut down nahi hote...
Jese he aap Mouse ya Keyboard ko touch kerain.....PC on ho jata hai....

I hope aap samajh gaee hoon gain...

Hibernate main PC shutdown ho jata hai lekin apni previous stage per hi On hota hai...Jabke Stand by main Comp sleep pe chala jata hai aur Mouse ka keyboard ka koi button press krny se On ho jata hai...

    1. Hibernate me PC Shut down ho ho jata ha.........jab k Stand by me Shutdown nahi hota...
    2. Hibernate me MSN Yahoo online nahi rehta..... Aur Standby main bi Online nahin rehta hai
    3. Hibernate me Internet Disconnect ho jata hai... aur Standby me bi Internet DC ho jata hai
