Meray paas laptop hp pavilion dv9000 hai.Iss k baray main mujhy 2 sawal karnay hain.

1. Main jab isss ko university ki protocol sab kuch manually dy ke DNS bhi , use krti hon tou DSL kaam karti hai lakin jab main iss ko ghar ki dsl ki procol,DNS deti hon tou yeh work nhi krti limited connectivity kahta hai ya connected but bytes recevied wali nhi ati.jab kah ghar main usi cable pr desktop theek kaam kata hai.
Please agr kisi ko iss ki wajha maloom ho tou guide kr dain.

2. Iss ki color quality 32-bit hai main issko 64-bit karna chahti hon woh main kaisay kr sakti hon iss k lye alag se CD hoti hai ya setting main hi kuch karna parta hai.


Please helpme as soon as somebody read this thread and knows solution ofmy problems.

meri bahin aap ki university mai WAN connection hoon gay jin ki range limited hoti hai tou woh internet connection aap k gher pay nai chal sakta shahid woh us k signal catch nai ker pata
DNS aap ki univrsity ka server hai jab aap k laptop tak us ki signals hi nai pohanch raahey tou aap ka laptop university k DNS say connect nai hoo ga


bits increase kernay k liay aap apna graphic card increase kerwa lain

lakin ghar main alag DSL hai us ka IP address alag hai jo main desktop pr use krti hon ghar main.Aur university main bhi LAN hai aur work kr raha hai after giving IP and DNS of university

mostly university k server/router ki settings 3 type ki hoti hain

1.automatic
2.static ip
3.dynamic

university main zyada log automatic configration use karte hain(for network management),aap university main ip,dns deti hain aur wo connect ho jata hai but ghar main aap check karen k agar aap ka service provider/server/router static configration use kar raha hai tu aap ko pehle us main apne laptop ka ip/computer name add karna pare ga,then ap k laptop per net chale ga.

tou yeho procedure main ghar pr krti hon Ip aur DNS ghar main ghar k server wala hi deti hon ab swal yeh hai kah ghar kah IP aur DNS ka mujhy kaisay pta chla actually meray paas desktop hai jab us pr automatically connect ho jata hai otu us ki setting main sab aa jata hai jo main note kr k wohi IP laptop pr deti hon magar laptop pr kaam nhi krta.

aap k desktop per jab net connect ho to Command Prompt open kar k command enter karen ipconfig /all
sab settings ko note kar len,host name bhi,then computer ko off kar dain phir apna laptop on karen aur sab setting us per use karen aur host name bhi change kar k desktop wala kar dain wo aap aise karen gi

My computer properties ---> Computer Name

restart required,then check karen net chala ya nahi

nhi chala.I did same procedure. I dnt know what the hell at home.
