Default Googsystray Integrates Google Gmail, Voice, Calendar, Reader and Wave As System Tray

If you are an active user for Google’s services such as Gmail, Google Voice, Google Calendar, Google Reader and Google Wave, then this system tray utility may able to benefit you. Named as Googsystray, it integrates all the services so that you can get prompt notification with preview information without the need to monitor each of them manually.

Once installed and launched the utility, Googsystray will stay at system tray quietly ready to be used. Basically, it packages everything and runs as a single interface that allows users to access Google services such as Gmail, Google Voice, Google Calendar, Google Reader and Google Wave without the need to launch new web browser. The operation is pretty straight forward – users just need to switch from one tab to another to change the function accordingly, which can be optionally accessed by hot key combination. Besides able to check emails and access services promptly, it also notifies users with customizable audible sound or pop up window when there is any update or change. In order to change the popup settings, just click on ‘Popups’ tab and those settings can be customized based on own preference. On top of these, users are allowed to configure the time interval on how frequent each service gets updated without overloading network bandwidth unnecessarily.

Consumed around 10MB of your hard disk space , Googsystray is free for download and is compatible to run with Windows OS (Operating Systems) such as XP, Vista and Windows 7 as well as Linux OS (with Python and Pygtk installed) to enable fast notification and easy access to Google’s services in simple steps.
