need help regardin usb

i ve 16 gb kingston usb it waz working fine but one day suddenly it stopped playing.means when i plug in the usb computer shows a new removeable disk but when i open it error comes "please insert a disk in to drive k" it doesnt eject nor format or shows these configuration in properties like
type removable disk
file system raw
used space 0 bytes
free space 0 bytes

I guess your USB had some hardware fault....
