Samsung SV0802N hard disk problem

I just bought a samsung SV0802N 80gig hard disk but i keep getting error whenever i tried loading it with OS....
the response i keep getting after doing a full format and copying the windows files is:
" Windows could not start because of a computer disk hardware configuration problem.
could not read from the selected boot disk. Check boot path and disk hardware.
please check the windows documentation about hardware disk configuration and your hardware reference manuals for additional information"....

i have tried loading all these Os on it: windows xp unlimited(2007), windows 2005, windows 2008 but keep getting the same message.

pls any help will do..

I tried loading it as a slave but i keep getting this message:

Pls help me because i cant seems to laod any OS on this hard disc..

Samsung HD are Better then any other but I think you should make changes to Your BIOS try Google

@firefox...thanks for replying, i have searched google but came up with nothing, i only find out the DDO can be removed by samsung's disk manager tool which can only be run on diskette which my system doesnt have the slot, and as for the bios, what difference would that make on the hard disk and pls how do i upgrade my Bios, i guess that is what you meant?
