Clearing your cache and cookies
Sometimes your Internet browser may be the cause of the problems you experience on fb. To fix your problem, you may need to clear your browser’s cache and cookies. Please follow the instructions below.

Internet Explorer 6.0
Click "Tools," then "Internet Options."
On the General tab, in the "Temporary Internet Files" section, click the "Delete Files" button.
Select "Delete Cookies."
Click "Close."
"Quit" the browser.

Internet Explorer 7.0
Click "Tools," then "Delete Browsing History."
In the "Temporary Internet Files" section, click on "Delete Files" and select "Yes."
In the "Cookies" section, click on "Delete Cookies" and select "Yes."
Click "Close."
"Quit" the browser.

Internet Explorer 8.0
On the Internet Explorer Tools menu, click "Internet Options."
The Internet Options box should open to the General tab.
On the General tab, in the Browsing History section, click the "Delete…" button.
In the "Delete Browsing History" window that comes up, make sure that "Temporary Internet Files" and "Cookies" are selected.
Click the "Delete" button and restart the browser.

Safari 3.0 and 4.0
Open Safari.
Select "Empty Cache."
Click "Empty" on the "Are you sure?" message.
Select "Preferences," then the Security tab, "Show Cookies," "Remove All."

Firefox 3.0 for PCs and Macs
Click "Tools" and select "Clear Private Data."
Make sure that "Cache" and "Cookies" are selected.
Click on "Clear Private Data Now."
Exit and relaunch browser.

Firefox 3.5 for PCs and Macs
Click "Tools" and select "Clear Recent History."
Make sure that "Cache" and "Cookies" are selected.
Click on "Clear Now."
Exit and relaunch browser.

Google Chrome for Macs
Click the "Chrome" category and select "Clear Browsing Data."
Make sure that "Empty the cache" and "Delete cookies and other site data" are selected.
Click on "Clear browsing data."
Exit and relaunch the browser.

Google Chrome for PCs
Click the "wrench" icon in the top right-hand corner and select "Options."
In the "Under the Hood" tab, click the "Clear browsing data..." button.
Make sure that "Empty the cache" and "Delete cookies and other site data" are selected.
Click on "Clear browsing data."
Exit and relaunch the browser.

Incase if you have been blocked sending the messages than ..........

Fb has determined that you were sending messages at a rate that is likely to be abusive. Note that these blocks can last anywhere from a few hours to a few days. Unfortunately, we cannot lift the block for you.

When you are allowed to resume sending messages, keep in mind that it’s possible to run into a block based on how many messages you send and how fast you send them. It’s also possible to be blocked when either starting a new message thread or replying to a message. Lastly, deleting old messages will not allow you to send more messages. In the future, please proceed with caution to avoid hitting the limit again. Please be aware that further abuse of such features can result in your account being permanently disabled.
