core 2 duo is like two processors inside the same unit with really two processor cores
-dual core a single processor with single core but with double registers and double speed that is divided to two and act as there is two processors in this unit

Intel ne ab market mein Pentium word ka use khatam ker dya he. Aor Dul core, Core Duo, Core 2 Duo, Core 2 Quad, Core i2, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7 ke naam se Processors ki marketing ki hay. upper dye gaye naam inki bil tarteeb luch se hay, yani jiska naam pahlay aaya wo, purana hay.
Aap ye samajh lein:
- [Dual Core] Pentium 1 he aor [Core 2 Duo] Pentium 2 hay. Dono ka structure same he, aor dono mein 2 cores hain.(Jesa ke unkay naam se zahir he)
Lekin Core 2 Duo, Dual core ke baad aaya he, aor ic processors mein L2 Cache zyada hoti hay, is lye ye dual core se mehnga hay, aor performance bhi achi hay.
