Dear i have iphone 3GS (5.0.1,,6.15,,new bottom rom) issue is that one day without any caution my iphone sounds of all type went to silent , as I searched and found that lot of peoples have same issue as they upgrade to ios 5.0.1 , i tried many fixes but in vain , only sounds come when i use headsfone , have you any trick or tip to fix it , i think its only software problem not hardware ,

u r right a lots people have these kind issues.aur mere pass b ye issue aya tha 2 iphone may ek ka problem solve hogia lakin dusre ka half hova hai.ek ki may ribbin change krni pari thn its working fine second fon ko mayne phely DFU mode pe lay gia then fresh IOS 5.0.1 install kia thn its working fine when i jailbreak same thng happnd.try that trick may b it would work.i will find more solution then let u know.

I didnt try the ribbon change method in which way it be perform , yes restoration and jailbreak again is not solving the issue , ok i will wait hope you find some easy fix , otherwise I think the only solution is downgrading ,.
