Send it to your phone by blue tooth

2nd Method.

All you need is few softwares and flash themes.

There are good guides at www.topsony.com Go there and you will find it.

Here is a tutorial on using W810i with Far Manager

Here is a small tutorial based on my experience with connecting a Sony Ericsson W810i with Far Manager.

Firstly you will need to download the following Softwares and Files :

1. Far Manager (www.farmanager.com)
2. SEFP Plugin (www.farmanager.com There click on the Plugins)
3. XS++ (http://www.speedyshare.com/317930729.html
mirror : http://rapidshare.com/files/15929939/XS__V12.rar)
4. USB Driver (http://www.speedyshare.com/503754875.html
mirror : http://rapidshare.com/files/15929980/USBFlash.zip)
5.db2010cid49_3_2.rar.zip, which has the files created by den_po that will allow us to use FAR with Mobiles of CID 49 (http://www.uploading.com/files/6099H...2.rar.zip.html)

After downloading all the files. First Unzip Far Manager into a folder say Far Manager. Then Unzip SEFP in the Plugins folder of Far Manager. Also Unzip db2010cid49_3_2.rar.zip into any folder and then copy the SEFP folder to the Far Manager's Plugins folder. If it asks for overwrite then accept.

Now Unzip the USB Driver and Install it. Also Unzip the XS++.

Note : Make Your Phone Full Charge and then poweroff it and remove the SIM.

2. Start XS++ and Select your Cable then Press Start.
3. It will ask to connect your Cell to the cable while pressing c button. Do So (Make sure that your cell phone is switched off)
4. Then Select Flash Main Firmware in the XS++ and point it to the folder you extracted the files! Select then the file that corresponds to your phone , in my case (W550ic w810i_r2e_dcu.49r.ssw !
Then Press Flash

The flash will start and will take around 1-2 minutes. The process will stop while Showing Finishing the flash. Press Stop after 1 minute of showing finishing flash cause It will not show further (It is a bug actually), It will say the process in not complete blah blah blah, ignore it and continue.

Now disconnect your phone and remove battery and wait for 30 sec. Do not switch on your cell phone.

5. Now start Far Manager. Press Alt+1 and select SEFP (generall at 0) After this select your cell phone model and press Enter the Matrix. (You can use tab and alt+tab to move between the selections).

Connect your Phone as you connected it with XS++.

6. Now go to FS and do whatever editing you wanted to do. Do not delete or change any file if you don't know because these are the system files of the cell phone and may cause your phone not to start. (read my previous post)

7. After doing all the editing go back by pressing .. and closing the SEFP then exit from the far manager by pressing F10 key.

8. Now restart the Farmanager and connect your phone.

This time select the Flash. Go to the directory where you extracte the db2010cid49_3_2.rar.zip file. There in the REST folder copy the file rest_W810i_R4CB020. It will ask that this is system are and such and such do you want to continue. Press Yes and your cell will flash.

9. Now close the far manager and disconnect your cell phone. Switch it on and Now you cell will start.

<b>CAUTION:</b> <i>This process is very harmfull and it may corrupt your cell phone software. So Do it at your own risk since I am also a starter so I won't give much help. Also If anything goes wrong the download the following file : </i>http://rapidshare.com/files/17422466...INARY.rar.html (Password:senews.org). <i>If your Flash file is corrupted then using the above file you can flash back your cell phone with XS++.</>

Now all you need is just copy the flash themes.

Yes ...... you can add new flash menus

I read this in another forum......I didn't beleive it...so I tried it ,and it worked perfectly

first (( I'm not responsible for any damages that may happen to your mobile ))

I have downloaded the flash menus and phone XS 2.10 alpha 5 and merged the files together to make things easier for you

1)download this file

Download

2)extract the file (( you are gonna need winrar to extract this file ))


3)((don't forget to charge your phone to full ,remove sim card and remove memory stick Due))

run the program



and click on start

now you have 30 seconds to connect your phone..... press (( c )) on your mobile and connect it to the computer using USB cable

then choose FSX and click on start

4) now the program is trying to transfer the files to your mobile .....this process may takes from 1 to 4 hours
It took me less than 30 minutes and it took my friend more than 3 hours

just leave the phone till everything is done

5)finally .... the program will ask you to unplug the phone



6) it may takes 4 hours and the charge may run empty......just charge your phone again and do the steps again
if an error message appears .... just re_do the steps again till it said FSX is successful

7)now you have 7 more flash menus in your mobile

I'll explain step 8 :

First download TUGZip and install it........google it

choose any theme and rename the file to .tar



write click on the file and choose extract to...



you're gonna find Theme.xml ....open this file using notepad



right after the <Sony_Ericsson_theme version="4.1">write this

you can change Active_desktop.swf and write any of the new flash menu that you have uploaded using phoneXS
which they are

breakbeat.swf
Active_desktop.swf
clubpulse.swf
grouped_desktop.swf

fone.swf
Lava_desktop.swf

now save the file



choose all the files and zip them using TUGZip and let it be in tar format like the pictures bellow







finally rename the file to .thm
