dear friends...i have a qmobile noir a5classic...which runs the above mentioned MediaTek 6575 chipset or MT6575 as mentioned. After several hours of hardwork i have finally managed to root my phone. I am attaching screenshots as proof which include the titanium backup app asking for superuser permission and we all know that superuser can only work if your phone is rooted...also i am attaching a screenshot of my phone specs sheet so you can all know.
I will not be sharing the method of rooting the MT65xx chipset as i believe somethings are better when not mentioned ...
@Admin(s)... feel free to contact me about this and i will provide you with all the logs and evidence of a valid root.
as for myself...i am an amateur developer of android and a member of xda. I have a Galaxy Nexus on which i do my experiments...this project was given to me as a challenge and it took no more than 3 days to complete it ...for everyone else out there...MT6575 "CAN" be rooted ...screenshots below (taken directly from phone)
it would take a lot of time to post the method here but i'll give it a shot...
1. install the Android ADB drivers. You will need to find your devices hardware id as mentioned on the first page of this thread. make sure that the USB DEBUGGING MODE is checked in the developers option in settings menu
2. after installation of the drivers you will see "Android Composit ADB device" in the device manager of your computer. (screen shot below)
3. Now you will have to find this software ... a different version has been mentioned in another thread but for MT6575, you will need this one
"Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v18"
download and extract it on your desktop
4. once you have the software run the file "RunMe" in the extracted folder of "Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v18"
*A window will open and you will get an option to make a choice. Press "1" there and follow the instructions
*a message will appear on your phone ... press "Restore" button on the bottom right corner.
And it should unroot the phone.
Note: I am not responsible for this method messing up your phone or resulting in a brick. I have personally tested the above mentioned method on my phone and its working on it. But i am not responsible for the method causing any unforseen damage to your device
Warning: rooting voids your phone's warranty...but you already know that dont you
