Qadeem Balochi Shairee: Aaghaz aur Irtaqaa tells about that the Baloch people express their joy in the form of 'Halo1 and 'Ladog' and when some body dies , they express their grief in the form of 'Mothk' so this kind of poetry handed down from generation to generation due to its depth and value. It reflects the sentiments and the temperament of the Baloch people and there seems to be deep impact of classical Balochi poetry (ancient) on modern Balochi poetry. Therefore, this publication of Balochi Classical poetry (its Origin and Development) is an attempt to look at folk and classical poetry from this perspective. It has been compiled to cover the history of Balochi classical poetry from 1470 to 1930 along with the different genres of Balochi poetry in its early phases.
