Delete Information
- Click the Tools button (pictured right), then select Internet Options.
- Click the Content tab.
- Under Autocomplete, click the Settings button.
- Click the checkboxes to set the types of information you want Internet Explorer to remember.
To delete information stored by IE:
- Click the Tools button, then Internet Options (as above).
- Click the General tab.
- Under Browsing History, click the Delete button.
- Click the buttons corresponding the the details you want to delete, or click the Delete all button to remove everything.

Viewing and deleting passwords
You can easily manage the usernames and passwords that Firefox has saved for you.
At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button (Tools menu in Windows XP) and then click OptionsOn the menu bar, click on the Firefox menu and select Preferences...At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Edit menu and select Preferences Click the Security panel. Click Saved Passwords... and the Password Manager will open
Make Firefox remember usernames and passwords
When you enter a username and password Firefox hasn't already stored for a website, it will ask if you want Firefox to remember them.
Choose whether you want to save passwords
- Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar.
- Select Settings.
- Click Show advanced settings.
- Adjust your password settings in the "Passwords and forms" section:
- Select "Offer to save passwords I enter on the web" if you want Google Chrome to prompt you to save your password every time you sign in to a new website.
Delete saved passwords
You can also use the Clear Browsing Data dialog to remove all password records saved during a specific time period.
- Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar.
- Select Settings.
- Click Show advanced settings.
- Click Manage saved passwords in the "Passwords and forms" section to see a list of all the usernames and passwords that have been saved.
- Windows, Linux, and Chrome devices users: In the Passwords dialog that appears, use your mouse to hover over the site whose password you'd like to remove and click the X that appears on the right.
- Mac users: You can remove your passwords in the Keychain Access dialog that appears.
Change password settings for specific sites
If you choose to let Google Chrome save website passwords, you'll see a prompt every time you sign in to a new website. If you click Never for this site in the prompt, your password for the site is not saved and the site is added to a list of passwords that are never saved.

Now revisit the website and you should see the prompt to save your password information again, if you've allowed Google Chrome to show the prompt

- Select Settings.
- Click Show advanced settings.
- Click Manage saved passwords.
- In the Passwords dialog that appears, scroll down to the "Never saved" section at the bottom.
- To remove a site from this list, select it and click the X that appears the end of the row.
