    Default how to make a cell write protected in excel??

    dears i want to know that how to protect specific , or selected cell or cells in a work sheet in excell, so it or these should be prevented from unwanted ammendment by any strike made by mistake

    You can use Validation on Data Tab.
    Alternatively, select the entire worksheet and press Ctrl+1 for cell properties, activate "Protection" tab and Clear the chekbox before Locked option.
    then select your desired cell/cells (you want to be protected) and hit Ctrl+1 again, activate "protection" tab and Check the Locked option.
    After doing that Protect the sheet, only locked cells will be protected.
