I am facing problem "Memory could not read"

I am facing a problem on new PC.Some games like EA cricket 07 running well,but on some Applications like iTunes and some others I am facing a problem.Whenever I click to open the applications the error pop up
"The reference at 0x0000 memory could not be read"
Plz someone help to solve this problem
