Help! folder search menu may open hota hay

Assalam-o-Alaikum,
Mera masla ye hay ke jab may c: ya d: drive ya kisi bhi folder ko open keta hu to bajaye open honay ke wo search window may open hota hay, majbooran mujhay folder per right click ker ke open select kerna perta hay( jo ke second number per hay) ager kisi terha say ye first option per aa jaye to direct double click kernay se wo open ho jaye ga, shayed kisi registry key ko edit kerna pare ga,,, ager kisi bhai ko maloom ho to plz help karen, meherbani hogi!!

ok, had another quick look. believe the keys you want to play with are here; [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\folder\shell] in that directory you'll find an "explore" and an "open" folder. i'm not sure what keys should have what values. i would backup my registry and play around but i really must run off to university. if you havent worked by the time i get back i'll see what i can do to help.

it may also pay to have a look around in the [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\folder\shellex] directory as that handles extra context menu items for folders. ie mine has winrar and AVG entries in it.
