there is no use to make our own pc a server due to two main reason
1. security threat
2 which is most important that no one can keep its pc on whole 24 hours and 7 days a week.not only computer will get disturb but lot of electricity will be wasted and now adays u know the bill ...:PP

so free hosting is better
if u have domainname then u can select any hosting server specially the new hosting companies provide first year free
and if u dont have domain then u can use the sites which provide hosting +sub domain name
