Lays Snacks Pakistan Holding Statement

Lays is produced in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan using 100% Halal
ingredients
We assure our consumers and customers that Lays Snacks Pakistan uses
only 100% Halal ingredients in all its food products. Some news reports
from a small section of the media suggest otherwise, and are absolutely
false.
All our ingredients (including flavor enhancer E631 that is used in Lays
Masala, and imported from Thailand) are compliant with strict quality
manufacturing and are 100 % Halal. E631 is produced from tapioca starch
which is extracted from a plant called cassava. Pakistan Council of
Scientific & Industrial Research (PCSIR), an established government
body, has verified that Lays is free of all animal meat fat (i.e. it only
contains vegetable fats). Jamia Ashrafia of Pakistan has also declared
Lays as 100% Halal. E631 is also certified by the raw material supplier, as
well as the Central Islamic Committee of Thailand, as Halal (and the
latter has also specifically endorsed the use of the legend “Halal” for
such flavor).
Lays chips are produced in Pakistan from the best quality natural

1) If you see at the back of the LAYS packet its written that it is MANUFACTURED in Lahore. As Pakistan is a MUSLIM country there a no pigs in muslim countries.So u cannot say that it contain PIG FAT.
2) Secondly you can read the lines about the link it say [E631 : It is mainly found in animals like pigs and fish] and you all know that PAKISTAN is famous for its TEXTILE and FISHING.This shows that the factory in Lahore for LAYS is using FISH fat.
and a last message to my MUSLIM friend do no pass these kind of thing before you are sure about it.

I requested to all muslims please avoide from lays .main is cheez par arguments nai karta kay yah Halal ha ya haram lakin kioun kay is par code E-631 mention ha or yah code main pig fat use ho sakta ha.As muslim hum ko jis cheez main doubt ho jay ky yah haram ha ya halal to hum ko us cheez ko chor dana chahiay .Agr Haram hoi to hum ghunagar ho sakty or jeosh muslims kay khalaf kuch bi kar sakty hain ya yad rakhna chahiay
