MSI Notebook =U270
2013 (PSU82C 01F00G) OS= MS Window 7 Home Basic.
integrated Ethernet LAN &
Realtek
Wireless LAN (802.11 b/g/n).

Wireless
connection worked from the day when I bought it until now. Two months ago, the connection dropped all of a sudden. I
tried to connect but couldn't see any wireless connection. The wireless adapter
disappeared and is not listed under Device Manager nor anywhere else as if it
doesn't exist.The only
adapter I can see is the Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller.

Configfree
shows just Local LAN and Dial Up connection options only but no Wireless
option. When I select in Connectivity Doctor, I got a message 'This Wireless
Network device is disable. Please turn on the device". I know the Wireless Communication Switch is
on. I tried Fn+F8 to ensure the adapter antenna is on, but Fn+F8 did not show
as one of the hotkeys. I don't know where else I can turn the device on. I tried to
restore to the point prior to the problem started but it didn't work.
Some people said to download the
driver and reinstall the driver. I downloaded it from http://www.msi.com/support/nb/U270.h...wn-driver&Win7 64 and when I
ran drivers it put the generated modules in a temp. folder. I
don't know how to install the driver properly without doing it via device manager.
I have searched the internet and see many have the
same issue, however, I don't see any solution for it. I am posting this to see
if anyone actually resolve this issue.
