16gb usb is not showing 16gb free space

HI

Mere pas 16gb usb hay aur mene use format kya....lekin format karne ke bad bhi wo muje 14gb free space deikhati hay....aisa kiu?kiu k mene to complete format kardya......kiu wo total 16gb free space nahi dikhati?

same as in hard disk....750gb hard disk me wo sirif total muje 700gb show karta hay disk managmeent me aisa kiua?

lagta hei aap ki Mathematics mein suppli thi........10 ^ 9 ka matlab hei 10 ko 9 defa mutliply kerein, kyon GB= Giga Byte and Giga = 10 ^ 9.
