x : ایک شرٹ کی قیمت ہے
y : ایک ٹراؤزر کے فئر کی قیمت ہے
z : ایک ٹوپی کی قیمت ہے

تو

4x + 4y + 2z = 560 ------------> (a)
9x + 9y + 6z = 1,290 ----------> (b)

Equation (b) is Divide by 3 So.
3x + 3y + 2z = 430 ------------> (c)

Subtract Equation (c) into Equation (a) So.
4x + 4y + 2z = 560
-3x - 3y - 2z = -430
--------------------
x + y = 130 ------------------> (d)

From Equation (c)
3x + 3y + 2z = 430
3 (x + y) + 2z = 430 ----------------> (f)

Put the Value of (x+y) From Equation (d) into Equation (f)
3 (130) + 2z = 430
390 + 2z = 430
2z = 430 - 390
2z = 40
z = 40/2
z= 20

So x+y+z = 130 + 20
x+y+z = 150

Given: log 8(5) = b. Express log 4(10)
in terms of b.

Use log rule of product: log4(10) = log4(2) + log4(5)
log4(2) = log4(41/2) = 1/2
Use change of base formula to write: log4(5) = log8(5) / log8(4) = b / (2/3) , since log8(4) = 2/3
log4(10) = log4(2) + log4(5) = (1 + 3b) / 2
